Have you ever felt tempted to question God??It is hard for us sometimes not to have those feelings as to "why me?"God.Even though we know full well that God is in control, that human part of us screams that you feel "Lord,I can't take any more,"yet in all our storms that we face,God is sweetly & tenderly saying,"You can go through this,I will equip you."Did you know that God knows exactly what we need and when we need it.Sometimes,He takes someone from us,other times He almost has us in isolation from the rest of the world and we feel completely alone and we wonder,Lord "why have you isolated me from all that is normal."

There is this article written by G.D. Watson {1845-1924}--"Others May,You May Not" this truly spoke so loud and clear when I first read it because God does not need to explain Himself to us and to the reasons why He does certain things the way that He does. Why do I not find work? Why do things never seem to work the way that you plan? You look at others and you see that they seem to succeed but you always seem to be struggling to make ends meet. However,in all our struggles,God in His grace knows just how much we can manage.

As I have been able to see so much of how God has worked and how things have fallen into place, plus also when things have so disappointed me.God was in His love protecting me.I remember this one trip last year that our family-my mom, brothers & I planned. We headed off to Niagara Falls,Ontario,Canada. The Saturday was so beautiful. On the Sunday,we were going to go to Marine land.Just to enjoy a day of being out together as a family. That morning we awoke and it was dark, pouring rain, very damp and to tell you the honest truth,I was so disappointed.I thought,"Lord, can't we have any fun as a family."Yet,later that day when we arrived back home and into the following day,it was as if the Lord sweetly spoke to my heart and Literally said,"I was protecting you."Oh,talk about convicting.I thought Lord, forgive me.I have never really questioned God as to,"Why did you take him or her."Not that we can't question.I mean Jesus said on the cross,"..My God,My God why have you forsaken me...."there is that "why" again.Jesus was fully man,but yet fully God and He still questioned God,so it is not that God is mad or gets upset when we ask,it is just that He is our creator and knows so much more then we do.That is why He calls us His children, because He tenderly loves us and corrects us,sometimes with some of us He needs to literally smash us,not that He wants to but in order for us to see,"This is what I have for you to do,"and God in His grace knows just what we need.

I was reading Phil.'s last night and came across this verse,"...that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel."Phil.1:12.This has taken years to sink in,but God has showed me that this is what truly matters.Sure family,friends,careers,etc..all these are important, but there is one thing that is far greater and that is seeing souls saved. What if God were to tell you,not that He is obligated to say anything, but if He were to say,"I am going in my love,to place you in such hard circumstances of my own choosing, all to bring your whole family into my Kingdom."Would you be like Mary when the angel appeared and she said,"..Be it done unto me according to your word..."that you would say YES,Lord or would you question that you want to enjoy life.God is not against us having fun,He created it.However, when the sands of time are sinking and the dawn of heaven breaks, there is something of greater value then what we see in the here and now.God wants others to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth, plus above all that He wants to cultivate Holiness into our lives.
Let God have His way today.Speaking from experience God has for reasons that I can't explain God has had us in one hard situation after the other. He is so good and gracious!!!

1 Corinthians 10:13

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able:but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."This is one of my favorite verses in Scripture.

Miss Ruth? The writ was interesting enough to take me to the end. That's kinda saying something for me, lol. I really enjoyed the fact that you succeeded in exposing your heart. I think that's the most important thing for a writer when writing non-fiction. The best writs come from passions of the heart. I would maybe work on the form, and in punctuation, paragraphing, etc. But definitely keep writing. You hit the nail on the head here concerning the salvation of the world. That, my dear, is what our lives are all about: Spreading the Good News! Carry on good a faithful soldier! Amen!

Many have experienced what you have shared. I don't think it is a bad thing to ask God what the purpose is behind a particular circumstance; sometimes he has told me why, other times HE just said "trust me"....It takes time and a lot of heat pressure to make a diamond. GOD BLESS YOU
