Our Broken Heart

What do we do?
When our heart is broken?
Even the many words don’t help
That even close friends, have spoken

The hurt is deep
The pain is tough
All we can do is cry
As we have had enough

When we cry out
To Jesus, God’s Son
We can be assured
That He hears our cry, every one

He comes and heals
Our broken heart
He calms the pain
And gives a new reason for our day to start

He will heal the hurt
He will send His rain
He will always make a way
That we may live again

Jesus is always faithful
When to Him we cry
To come, hear and heal
On this we can rely

What was meant for our harm
He will turn for our good
If we will just look to Him
The way His word says, that we should

Jesus will always
Come and do His part
When we cry out to Him
With our broken heart.
