whole story about it:

I said.....about that THING?"

[NOD.]

"WELL?
WhatCha' gonna DO?"

"Wait, child."

"LORD!
Wait for WHAT?
WHAT?
Until the DINOSAURS
get RAPTURED?"

[RUMBLE.]

(Smile!)
"I'm serious, Lord!
Why CAN'T the
dinosaurs get Raptured,
TOO?
(Squint up at air vent.)
HUH?"

[PATIENT RUMBLE.]

"HUH?
Why NOT?
(Laugh!)
WHY NOT?"

"Hey, LORD?
(Tee-hee!)
I just made a RHYME!
(Laugh!)
Wanna HEAR it?"

"Oy vey."

(Yell up at air vent.)
"The RAPTURE OF THE VELOCIRAPTORS!
(Tee-hee!)
HEY! I think that's pretty GOOD,
even for ME!"

"Yes, My precious."

"I'm pretty ORIGINAL,
aren't I?"

"One of a kind,
My beloved."
[PATIENT SILENCE.]

"Do You think I'm
a nut, Lord?
A bit meshugunah?"

"Yes, My precious."

"Yeah, but You
MADE me that WAY!"

[PATIENT SIGH.]

"So......whatCha' gonna
do about that thing:
what we TALKED ABOUT?"

"Listen to Me, child."

"Yeah.
(Squint.)
But, I don't hear nothin."

[CHUCKLE.]
"Perhaps you need to
be more quiet,
beloved."

"HEY!
Was that JOKE?
Are You saying,
Lord,
that I TALK too much,
and I don't LISTEN,
ENOUGH?"

"Yes, My child!"

"Yeah, but.....Ya still
haven't ANSWERED me:
Ya KNOW - about the
dinosaurs."

[SMILE.]

"I think the dinosaurs
should go first;
then, like.....the MAJOR
animals, Lord:
like, the hippos,
and the kangaroos,
and the cows:
including dairy,
and the other kind,
and all the lions,
and....Ya know:
like, those guys.
(Yell up at the air vent.)
AND, THOSE POOR POLAR BEARS!"


[PATIENT NOD.]

"And, then we can
send up, Ya know, like:
all the PETS:
the birds,
the goldfish,
puppies,
the pot belly pigs,
and all the cats,
naturally......"

"I hear you,
My precious."

"That's right, LORD!
And, THEN,
the people!"

"We'll see,
My child."

"Hey, LORD?
(Squint.)
I think there should be
a SPECIAL Rapture: One,
just for the homeless
dogs and KITTIES!"

"Go to sleep, child."

"ARE Ya WRITIN'
this all DOWN, LORD?"

"Every word,
My beloved."

"Ya sure
Ya got it all
DOWN?"

[PATIENT NOD.]

(Eyes closing.)
(Smile.)
(Murmur.)
"Hey, LORD?"

"What is it,
My child?"

"I know I get MAD
at You, a lot. But,
Ya know what I
like about YOU?"

[PATIENT SMILE.]
"What is that,
child."

"None of us have'ta
draw PICTURES for
Ya!"

[NOD.]

"All we gotta do,
is say ONE word:
and, Ya KNOW!"

"Yes, My beloved."

"Just ONE WORD!"

[NOD.]
"Hm, hm."

"One WORD,
that's IT!"

[NOD.]
"Yes, child.
Just One Word."

(Author's note: 'Velociraptors'
were those really nasty guys in
the 2nd Jurasic Park movie (or,
was it the FIRST? Heck, I can't
remember. Anyhow, they were those
little nasty guys, with teeth,
nimble 'feet', and fast brains,
who kept chasing everybody,
and munching on all the semi-
main characters of the movie.
Supposedly, THESE dinos were
so smart that they could get
into a football huddle, and
'plan' out their ambush-and-eat
strategy, on their latest victim.
Was it all TRUE? Well....I guess
we'll find out - after we all
get Raptured.)
