While the horse was getting
WHIPPED?
While EVERYBODY was
CHEERING?
AND SHOUTING?
And, MAKING MILLIONS?
While he was sweating
on that RACE TRACK?
When he broke both his
ANKLES - AND GOT
SLAUGHTERED?
WHERE, LORD?
WHERE?"

"I was right There,
My beloved."

"Oh, REALLY?
I didn't SEE YA!"

[SORROWFUL GLANCE.]
"Look at the picture,
child.
[PAUSE.]
Of her dying.
[GENTLE VOICE.]
