TRUTH CAME WALKING

Truth came walking in sandals
And spread abroad His Word
He came that men could be redeemed
Made sure that message was heard.

Hand chosen, were His followers
He knew each and every heart
Those who were His faithful friends
The one, who would depart.

He set His face as a flint
There was no deviation
Obedient to His Father above
He gives so great Salvation.

The heart though desperately wicked
Can be cleansed from sin
That great gift Giver Jesus Christ
Will come and live within.

Now Resurrection's Victor
The Just One's jubilation
That Word. still being preached
To every tribe and nation.

Religion? No! A relationship
Is what counts in the end
Jesus Christ is that Life
The true believers' Friend.
