KINDRED SPIRIT

To find a kindred spirit
Is to find a hidden treasure
As iron sharpens iron as friend unto friend
Is a gift beyond all measure

That bond that's knit in love
True respect and admiration
To be on the same plane in thought and deed
Gives a sense of deep satisfaction

How often does that happen
When there are such similarities
Thank you Lord, for sending this one
A fulfilling of one of my needs

A frIend, loveth at all times
They see the need in advance
They are there in all of your trials
And in every circumstance

In a conscious deliberation
Of a commitment unto the end
Is the wonder and the blessing of
A never failing friend.
