"Behold, the man".

Whos eyes reflected Heaven,
Whos countenance drew others to Him.

Who spoke with the wisdom
Of no other scholar of His time...

"Behold, the man."

Gentle of spirit...
Kind and compassionate to all.

Who loved with genuine, constant love...
Who taught the world how to love.

"Behold, the man."

Who made faith more than an idea...
Who healed with the touch of His Hand.

Who walked with the poor,
And gave sight to the blind.


"Behold, the man."

Who gave His very life...
To offer unending life for us.

Who suffered and bled...
Yet was able to forgive His tormentors,
For His agony was for them.


"Behold, the man."

Whos eyes searched the sky
For the comfort of His Father
Who could not look on sin...

As He became our sin on the Cross.

"Behold, the man."

Who was layed in a borrowed tomb...
Covered with a shroud,
And the tears of sorrowful women;
Shut behind an unmovable stone.

"Behold, the man."

Who defied death...
A shroud and a seal could not hold Him
In His grave.

Who is with us today...
Who offers life everlasting
Through the gift of His Life.

"Behold, the man."

Who has promised His return...

Who we wait to see coming
In the clouds of the eastern sky.

Behold! The Lamb of God.

Who we follow...

And serve...

In whos Name we love others...

For whos sake, we forgive...

In whos Words we hold dear and reverence...

Whos Face we wait with longing to see.


Son of God...

Redeemer...

Sheperd...

Friend...

Life...

Saviour...

Behold! Jesus.
