A gentle breeze...
Cool...
Inviting...
Flowing...
Rich and penetrating to breathe...
Lifting up resting life
From a sleeping world.
Bursts of color rich...
Across empty and quiet fields.
Bright blossoms...
Pink...
White...
Living jewels
On dry branches.
The shadow of winter
Retreats and yields obediantly
To a planned pattern.
Springtime...
The very voice of creation.
A lovesong to humanity...
From a thoughtful and loving Creator.
Reassuring...
Unmistakable proof
To unsure minds
That life is the beauty of change...
A reminder
That the winter of the soul
Will yield to the splendour of the spirit reborn.
The coming of the spring
Is sure and certain...
While the sun rises and sets...
While the tides obey the moon...
While the night yields to the day...
While the Hand of God Covers the earth.
