Your country lies desolate,
your cities are burned with fire;
in your very presence
aliens devour your land;
it is desolate,
as overthrown by aliens.

"Yeah, well......I don't
see You, any PLACE!"

"Look, child."

"I am!
Where were You,
last NIGHT?"

"Beside You, child."

"Yeah?.
Well; You weren't much HELP!
What were You DOIN':
standing there,
watching me make a fool
outta MYSELF?"

[PATIENT SILENCE.]

"Speaking of help:
how come You're giving
so much popularity to
a candidate who's
anti-ISRAEL, huh?"

[PATIENT SILENCE OF A LOVING FATHER.]

"Well, then what're You
DOING up THERE?"

"I am Here,
My beloved."

"WHERE?
I mean, Lord,
'here' could be anywhere:
the MOON!
DWARF PLUTO!
MARS!
KLINGON!"

[GENTLE LAUGH!]
"Klingon, child?"

"Well; yeah, Lord.
Anybody, who's ever
watched Star Trek,
knows there's
a planet, Klingon. We
can't see it, 'cuz, we
don't have warp speed,
yet."

[SOLEMN NOD.]

"Anyhow, Lord:
so, what gives?
I thought You were
always HELPING
Israel! Now, it
looks like You
could care LESS!
What's goin ON?"

"I am, child."

"What's THAT mean, Lord?"

"I AM."

Then Moses said to God,
If I come to the
people of Israel
and say to them,
The God of your fathers
has sent me to you,
and they ask me,
'What is His name?',
what shall I say to them?
God said to Moses,
I AM WHO I AM.
