Wait On the Lord

Does your life seem to be over?
Have you lost all hope?
Are the struggles so intense?
That you can no longer cope

Do you think that you have gone as far?
As you can possibly go
Are you ready to just quit?
And your miracle just won’t be so?

The Lord is saying
To you and to me
Wait a little longer
What He has promised, will come to be

The doors that Jesus will open
No man can ever close
God alone will get the glory
Of God’s miracle power, many will come to know

Look back at all the times
That God has come through
Did you He ever fail?
Did He ever forget you?

I know the battle has been tough
I have been there myself a long time too
Yet I know that what God speaks
He will always be faithful, to do

Just wait a little longer
Trust only in Him
They day is soon coming
The victory’s He will for you win

So many times
Our sight is so blind
We see through a glass darkly
We don’t see what God has in mind

We sometimes tend to forget
That it is not just about me
God wants to touch many
His glory He wants others, to see

The things that you have believed
Have not been wrong
Even though you have questioned
Why has it taken so long?

God in His wisdom
Has a greater plan
He is not going to just touch one
He is going to touch all of man

Just wait on the Lord
And just believe
Victory is at hand
His glory, you will see.
