"Yeah, I guess.

I'm sorry, Lord.
But, You've disappointed me,
so many times. I guess
the worst, has been that
whole Pluto issue. Not to
mention, all those poor
polar bears. What're 'Ya
DOING up There, Lord,
ANYWAY?"

[PATIENT SILENCE.
SMILE.]

"Then, there's all these
Christians ....who think
the world 'a You.
Sometimes, I think
they're a little meshugunah."

[LAUGH!]
"I know, child!"

"They mean well.....but,
they've never been Jewish.
It's not the same thing."

"What isn't, My precious?"

YOU'RE not the same thing!"

(disgruntled silence)
"Hm......uh, uh.
I don't think so.
The God I grew up with,
was Jewish. And, the
Holy Spirit's Catholic.
That's it, Lord.
That's it."

[LAUGH!]
"And, Jesus,
My child?"

"Eh........Maybe, He's
Protestant.
I'm not sure.
Don't YOU know?
Why are You
asking ME?
THAT'S WEIRD!"

[LAUGH.]
"Yes, child!
It is!"

"Hey, Lord; You're
not supposed 'ta
be talkin' with so
many exclamation marks.
It just isn't YOU."

"You don't know Me,
little one.
You don't know Me,
at all."

and one Spirit,
just as you were called to the
one hope.......
one Lord,
one faith.....
one God
and Father of us all....
[Ephesians 4:4-6]
