Humility

The greatest people
That I can ever meet
Are ones that can kneel
At Jesus’ feet

They are people
Of humility and grace
They know lots of truth
Yet don’t rub it in your face

They have come to know
Where their strength comes from
It is not in themselves
It is in Jesus, Gods’ Son

Pride goeth before destruction
A haughty spirit before a great fall
So I have found that it is a good thing
To stay away from, all know-it-alls

The greatest people
Will know how to pray
They can stay on their knees
Till God leads the way

They do not rely
On their own strength nor power
They are not looking to men
For praises to them shower

All glory will always go to the Lord
For He alone is worthy of all praise
He is the one that when we do fall
In His love us, does He raise

One thing which I have learned
As In Jesus I grow
The more I seem to learn
There is so much more, that I do not know.
