Father, Thank You

Father, thank You
For being You
Thank You for all the things
For me, that You do

Father, thank You
That one day I will see your face
Thank You Father
For giving me what I need, to run life’s race

Father, thank You for your Word
That has lasted for all time
Thank You that You confirm your words
And not so much mine

Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus
And that He came to set me free
Thank You for life eternal
And His Blood that washes me

Father, thank You for healing
All my sickness and disease
Thank You for health
And life, abundantly

Father, thank You for Your Holy Spirit
That Jesus sent to me
That I may walk in Your power
And testify of Thee

Father, thank You for the gifts
Of Your Holy Spirit might
That I may be used
To turn someone’s darkness into light

Father, thank You for the power of prayer
That I may commune with You
Thank You for all the answers
That when I ask, the things which You do

Father, there are so many things
I need to thank You for
You stood and knocked
And gave me grace to open my heart’s door

Father, thank You for your mercy
Thank You for Your grace
As undeserving as I am
In You, You have allowed to me a place

Father, as I start this and every day
I choose to enter into Your gates
With thanksgiving in my heart always
And give to You all thanks and praise.

Father, I can never thank You enough
I can never show the appropriate gratitude
Father, You are just so awesome
For in You, I can never lose.
