Darkness

I can remember the time
That I was in a cave
I couldn’t see my hand
That was in front of my face

Without the sun
There would be no light
As the time that comes
When there is no visible moon, at night

In the light you can see
And things you can do
You even know
What is in front of you

When there is no light
And all is pitch black
You have no idea
What is even near your back

Spiritually speaking
It is the same
When there is no light
No ground can you gain

In order to see what is ahead
We must walk in the light
For you cannot see anything
When you walk in the darkness, of night

There is coming a day
Where the Son will be the only Light
That unless you know Him
Yours forever, will be the blackness, of the darkness of night

Where you will just grope in the darkness
At noonday just like a dead man
Having no eyes to see
And no one can save you, nor take your hand

I do not know about you
But light is preferable to me
I would rather live forever
In a place, where I could see.
