Circumstances

Circumstances are like clouds
That just blow in the wind
A gentle breeze comes
You will see the sun again

The only way to stand
Is in the spirit strong
The circumstances have no effect
As you know to whom you belong

Circumstances are but promises
Which have not yet aligned
If you will stand by faith
They will change, in God’s time

God’s promises are true
So circumstances are but a lie
God’s Word alone is true
On this you can rely

Circumstances will change
In God’s season
The obstacles you face
Are usually for a reason

They can make you stronger
And will be a test of your faith
But since Jesus is the author and finisher
At the end, you will win the race.
