Healing

And when Jesus entered
Peter's house,
He saw his mother-in-law
lying sick with a fever;
He touched her hand,
and the fever left her,
and she rose
and served Him.

"Lord?"

"What is it, child?"

"How come, everybody's doing
stuff, and I'm NOT?"

"Doing what, child?"

"You know......like, STUFF!"

"Tell Me, precious."

"Well, I see people everywhere,
involved in these wonderful
things.......for YOU!"

[NOD.]

"Well? What about ME?
How come 'Ya haven't
called ME to do anything,
yet? How COME?
Huh, LORD?"

[SILENCE.]

"What about ME?
Huh? How come, I'm
not good for nothin'?"

"Have you asked Me, child?"

"Yeah, LORD! I do all the
TIME! You know THAT!"

[SILENCE.]

"What's 'a matter?
WHAT? Am I asking
the wrong QUESTION?"

"Yes, child."

"Huh? I don't understand....?
But, I thought I was...."

"Child, child!"

"WHAT?"

"You haven't asked Me
the most important thing."

(silence)
"WHAT, LORD?"

"To heal you."

And as Jesus passed on from there,
two blind men followed Him,
crying aloud,
Have mercy on us...........
and Jesus said them,
Do you believe that I am
able to do this?
