Like A Baby

In many ways our walk is like a baby's when he is first learning to walk. As Christians there is no question we will fall at times, like a baby when he is first learning to walk. Its not about IF we fall but who we fall on, and if we get back and try it again. As a baby falls, he doesn't stay down long, within seconds they are back up, walking and striving towards their goal. Before you know it they are up and walking with no problem. I wish I could say the same about Christians. Many times as we fall, we fail to get back up. Some fall on old friends or maybe old addictions. Yet we must learn to fall on Christ, trust him to restore you and get you on your feet. We need the determination like a baby.

Our strength not only comes from Christ, but it is Christ. If your of little faith then you'll be of little strength. Every dollar we have, every ounce of our bodes, every breathe we take, every step we make, and every loaf of bread you bake...it all comes from God. Once Christians realize that, it enables you to have a more fulfilling life. Often times people misunderstand you, thats because they cant see in your heart. But the Lord can. From a baby to a grown up, he is always with you. Today, Tomorrow, and Forever...he was there is here and will always be there.

Through out our lives we seem to measure our success and significance by what we accomplish. From the applause we receive as a baby's from mom and dad when we take our first step, to the cheers at graduation. One of the reasons Christians struggle with the idea of being unworthy is there is no great applause or "Damascus Road" experience, all the time as sometimes advertised. That doesn't mean you arent a Christian, but what really happens is beyond our imagination. Out real rewards await us in heaven and are being stock piled for us. No matter young or old we all need Gods grace. But it all starts when we are just a baby...
