Cleansing Agent

"Throne Room One, this is Altar One. We have two coming to the altar. Repeat two to the altar."

"Altar One, Throne Room One, copy. Two to altar. Will prepare cleansing agent.".

Little Tommy just celebrated his eighth birthday. For the most part he is a good kid; listens to his parents, does his chores, minimal sins.

Matthew Baldwin 36, been drinking since age 12. Three wives, numerous affairs. If he were an apple, he would spoil the whole batch.

Opening the Book of Life, the angel starts his graceful strokes. Samuel carefully unfolds the recipe for the cleansing agent. Even though he has made it before, he still reads the ingredients:

2 parts Grace
2 parts Love
2 parts Mercy
Stir with conviction
Add 1 drop of Calvary's blood.
Rinse thoroughly with Living Waters
Anoint with the sweet fragrance of Salvation.

As Samuel carefully prepares the cleansing agent, a puzzled look crosses his face. "Lord, Tommy has very little sin and I am sure this will cleanse him but Matthew - his track record….."

Raising His hand Jesus silences Samuel.

"Here, Samuel". Jesus says as He hands him a neatly folded paper.

Unfolding the paper Samuel reads:
2 Parts Grace
2 Parts Love
2 Parts Mercy
Stir with conviction
Add 1 drop of Calvary's blood.
Rinse thoroughly with Living Waters
Anoint with sweet fragrance of Salvation.

It's exactly the same as Tommy's.

Jesus look softly into Samuel's eyes "Samuel, it's the same for everyone no matter what sins they have done."
