With His heart burdened with sorrow, He walked into the room.

Hugging His friends necks, His grief was HEAVY.

While the evening wore on, the grief disappeared as laughter rose from the thirteen.

A somber wave swept the place as Jesus announced, "One of you will soon betray me."


Jesus' grip relaxed as the last of His life left His body.

A single, small drop of blood formed on the heard of the 10" spike. All creation stood silent as it fell gracefully to the earth.

Dust flew into the air while the single drop settled.

The earth trembled. It had tasted blood and death before, but this was different. This was pure, innocent blood.

As the dust settled, the trembling increased in violence. People screamed and ran for cover while the rocks rent.

Grieved by the sight of His only begotten Son's death, God honored His Son as He gently tore-from top to bottom- the veil that seperated the Holy of Holies.

Never again will mankind have no escape from hell.

The debt was paid. The sacrifice of His Son was more then acceptable.

Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, I owe a debt I cannot pay.

I love you Jesus. Lord of my life.
