Do We Believe

We believe in a God
That will save the lost
Because at Calvary, Jesus paid the cost
We believe in a God
That will fill us with His power
If we can just tarry with Him, for a few hours
We believe in a God
That will send His presence
In worship and in song
We believe in a God
That heals and delivers
When we are weak, and not strong
We believe in a God
That provides all of our need
When we seem to have great lack
But do we believe in a God
That is powerful enough
To turn away an enemy attack?

Do we believe in a God
That is powerful enough
To execute vengeance on an evil deed?
Do we believe in a God
That expects us as humans
To go and fight a spiritual war, carnally?
Do we believe in a God
That if we will intercede and pray
That will deal with the principalities?
Do we believe in a God
That is all power
Or do we just fight, fleshly?

This war has me concerned
That we may be in unbelief
We can believe God for many things
But yet, we don’t trust Him alone
To crush, all of our real enemy.
My God said, that according to my faith
It will be unto me
I have no problem believing that when we all pray
That God will handle our foes, supernaturally.
