Let the Pages Turn

The Bible says that patience is a virtue
So often we must just allow the pages to turn
Not really knowing what is ahead
Yet knowing that we are a part, of what God does yearn

The journey may seem long
But knowing the one who is in control
Will always bring victory in the end
Not because of what we, but whom we know

Just as in a story
On each page many things do take place
So till all that happens that should
We can’t see the next page of our race

With patience we then must walk
And trust because Jesus leads our way
And rejoice in our journey
While it is still the light of day

Let the pages turn
Take hold of each new thing
The story will at some point finish
And just know that in the end, to God, glory it will bring.
