There are so many words to describe You, my Lord.
Father, King, Gracious, Exalted, and the One I adore.
You are worthy of all my praise, worship and love.
You are glorious, inspiring, You give peace like a dove.
You excite me, You are awesome, and You set my soul on fire.
You are: blameless, honorable, the most high, my soul’s desire.
Yet all of these words could not even begin to explain,
The wonder, the power, or the perfection, in all of Your ways.

Indeed, no mere word could ever describe Him.... beautiful!
Yet all of these words could not even begin to explain....Amen, our words are not enough to describe Him. A million books, poems, short stories and songs wouldn't be enough to explain our God. Thanks for sharing this poem from your heart. Keep on writing for His glory. You bring joy to His heart.
Your poetry expresses your deep love for God. Having corresponded with you, and having read your comments on my "Lettuce 'N Do'nuts" story, I know that you have been through a lot in your life. This is what makes you strong. Yes, you are right, "There is No Explanation for God." He is the Great I AM, and there is no other. Thanks and Praise to Him that He lowered Himself to come down to rescue us - just a speck of dust!...Helen
