You Are
You are the shower in the desert
My glorious found treasure
You are.
You are the hope for the weary
The comfort for the dreary
You are.
You are the voice that speaks in silence
My powerful reliance
You are.
You are the corner of my foundation
The rock of my salvation
You are.
You are the cause of my submission
My heavenly commission
You are.
You are the calm when the world rattles
My peace within each battle
You are.
You are my soul’s and life’s desire
You’re my drive and my fire
You are.
You are my song of blessed healing
You heal the hurts I’m feeling
You are.
You are the calm for my distress
My pasture when I need rest
You are.
You are my Shepherd, my guide
The one to which I confide
You are.
You are my hope and my song
My melody all life long
You are.
You are my rock my strong tower
Light in my darkest hour
You are.
You are the hope for the broken
You hold the door wide open
You are.
You are the strength when I tire
You are my soul’s desire.
You are.
You are the grass that never withers
You offer and deliver
You are.
I will praise Your name forever
You are my life’s endeavor
You are.
