He is peace beyond understanding
The calm when life’s demanding
He is.
He is the lighthouse that heeds warnings
The light and joy in my mornings
He is.
He is the hand that makes me humble
He lifts me when I stumble
He is.
He is my shelter in the midst of trouble
Growth in the midst of rubble
He is.
He is the peace that calms the water
The mercy when I falter
He is.
He is my joy when the sun does rise
After tears fall from my eyes
He is.
He is the love that lasts forever
Making beauty for my pleasure
He is.
He is the sun that shines tomorrow
The hope that outshines sorrow
He is.
He holds a lock that can’t be broken
Yet He holds the door wide open
He is.
He is the light and my freedom
The power I believe in
He is.
He is my life and my defender
When I’m broke, my mender
He is.
When in trouble He hides me in His Pavilion
The times He’s forgiven me almost a million.
He is Everything!
