He is my strength in the midst of pain;
My Sunshine through the rain;
He is.
He is my lighthouse in the dark;
When my world seems cold and stark;
He is.
He is everlasting lover of my soul;
He makes the broken whole;
He is.
He is the shelter from the storm;
The healing for the torn;
The vigor for the worn;
He is.
He is my friend when I’m alone;
My daddy though I’m grown;
My quiet in the drone;
He is.
He is the peace in the midst of strife;
The capture of my life;
He is.
He is my sight when I can’t see;
My life-song’s harmony;
My eternal melody;
He is.
He is the warmth when I am cold;
The greatest story ever told;
I’ll proclaim even when I’m old;
He is.
When the world falls all around,
He picks me off the ground,
Lifting me up when I am down;
I am His.
