When we look back on yesterday
and the things we didn’t do.
There’ll be sadness and regrets
because our rewards are so few.

There’ll be unspoken kind words,
and calls that was never made.
The unnoticed pain of friends
that was visible day after day.

We will answer to the Father
the many things we left undone.
Because we had our own agenda
and was to busy to help anyone.

For us no turning back the clock
or erasing the mistakes we made.
We will stand before the Father
with much sorrow on our face.

So while we still have a chance
Let us work while it is day.
Cause we only have one life to live
and will not again pass this way.
