The time to pray is now
not tomorrow but today.
The dark is getting darker
my friend, it’s time to pray.

The enemy’s battle is fierce
our lives are in disarray.
There is no time to waste
it is time now to pray!

Young people are now confused
many have gone astray.
Our elders are without hope
It’s time I say to pray.

Oh saints of God bow low
and seek the Lord today.
Waste no time complaining
our only hope is to pray.

Battles are won on our knees
before the throne of grace.
So heed the call of urgency
and pray and pray and pray.
