This short story is dedicated to my precious daughters Hailey ,Rochelle and Robyn.May their faith always be unshaken in Christ.



Cindy looked tearfully over her breakfast plate as mum motioned her to eat. Time will soon be up for off to school to go. Been almost two weeks now that dad had left and nothing is the same anymore.

I heard mum say that there was someone else . Breakfast wasn’t breakfast when one of us was missing , dinner was less delightful when one plate is less. I saw the pain in mothers’ eyes and heard her sobs when the house was quiet.

Come now kids, lets pray for the day. She looked my way and I knew I had to have my say.

O Dear Lord , I know you are real so please send my daddy home now and forever. Restore our home and reconcile our hearts and leave him here never to part. You are the God of the impossible , I heard the preacher say, so do the impossible in our lives , I pray.

I looked at mum , sister and baby not a dry eye but tears of heartache.
The day went as normal and then darkness fell. A knock on the door broke the silent spell . There on the doorstep ,bags and all , I heard God say , I heard your call .You asked for your dad and here he is , reconciled to your hearts and never to part.
I looked at mum , sister and baby , not a dry eye but tears of joy.

I guess God heard my little prayer as i trusted him without failure .How impossible is impossible when God is near, very possible I say through belief and prayer.
