My shoulders are too weak...
For the burden of the day.


Everything is surreal...
But for my body, which goes on relentlessly;

Absent of my own strength...
I cling desperately to a familiar window;

Searching in desperation
For misplaced peace of mind.

Is that your light, God...
In the back room of my thoughts?

I give you my hand once again...
I know you have a reason;

My shoulders are weak...
Yours can carry what I cannot.

Lead me into what you would have me know...
I give you this day and its burdens.

In my weakness...
I trust in your strength.
