The great Love of God
Encompasses me in a warmth not human;

It sees beyond what I appear to be to others...
Into the heart of intention and sincerity.

When I am wild with fear and confusion,
I am wrapped in a love
Strong enough to keep me walking through another day.

When I can find
No purpose for my life...

The Love of God wraps little arms around me,
And smiles up at me...
Through the face of my child.

Though the future is unclear to me,
The Love of God promises...
My days were planned before my life began.

His care for me is greater than for sparrows.

The great Love of God
Allows me not to stand safely on a silent hill;

It winds from head to foot 'round me...
Pulling me gently toward
The fearsome noise of life.

Within the encompassing warm wind
Of God's great Love,
I will lean toward its current...
Trusting It to carry me where It will.
