There was a time when I felt
that God had a magnifying glass held over me,
and each and every wrong thing
was magnified for all to see

I didn't think that God cared,
or that I had any worth at all;
other people seemed so grand and big
and me, I just felt so small

Then one day I had an encounter,
with Jesus, who told me what's true,
that all I needed was to let Him into my heart,
and He'd make all things brand new.

Oh, I wanted to believe, but still so unsure,
was it true, could this truly be real?
could I trust what He said, could my life be changed,
could this joy be always mine to feel?

Yes, it was true, and I was made new that day,
God poured out His blessings from above,
and best of all, He was only beginning,
for then He sent me love.

That day I met you, God was holding my hand,
and He brought it and placed it in yours,
and from that moment on, I knew we'd always be one,
He'd given me a husband to adore!

Now every day has a magnifying glass,
it shows all things glorious and true,
and most of all it shows just how full my heart is,
oh, how very much I LOVE YOU!!!
