I Tasted Jesus

I tasted Jesus.
My heart within me did burn.
I’ll never go back, no.
I'm passed the point of no return.

‘Cause I tasted Jesus.
His goodness, so sweet.
And I’ll never go back, no.
I’m bowing down at the Master’s feet.

‘Cause I tasted Jesus.
Now, I’ll stay at His side,
running after the King.
Hallelujah.
Here forever I’ll abide.

I tasted Jesus.
My heart within me did change.
I’ll never go back, no.
I’ll never, never be the same.

I tasted Jesus.
I’ll never, never,
no, I’ll never be the same.

Just the title of this poem makes me rejoice. I am almost lost for words. This is a beautiful and anointed poem. Jesus satisfies my soul when I am hungry and quenches my thirst when I am dry. Oh how I long to taste more of Him. Hallelujah! You have stirred Him up in me. Thanks so much for sharing this. May God continue to bless you and your family with love, peace and happiness.

Oh my! My heart sentiments exactly. If we've truly tasted Jesus, nothing else measures up to Him, nor is anything else good enough. Only Jesus gives complete satisfaction.

Treava... what a wonderful image to take with us to Communion and to keep with us everyday of our lives! Once we have 'tasted' Jesus, nothing is ever the same! He, indeed, satisfies our spiritual appetites like no other for He is the MAIN COURSE! This is a gift to all who read it! Thank you, Sis... well done - AGAIN! Love, Peggy

Amen Joyce, once we taste Jesus we can never get enough. John 1:1--In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God and the WORD WAS GOD. Ps.119:103-How SWEET are YOUR WORDS to my TASTE, sweeter than HONEY to my mouth. This is beautiful, thank you for sharing. Love you, Sharon
