SIGHTS AND SOUND

All that you can see

All that you can hear

They came not from gases and evolutionist theory

What was seen and what things there were,

All came from the one who was there

A word was spoken and there they were!

`Let there be---! ´ This, was the declaration!

And so, there was, that was the confirmation!

How glorious to see the beautiful rainbow with it’s coat of many colors
A reminder in the heavens that He made us a promise out of a loving heart

The raindrops so cool and gentle, refreshing waters for all life

The rivers, the brooks, lake and lagoon channeling their courses towards the mighty oceans and seas

The strong and sturdy green trees planted by the riverside giving fruit to you and me
The lush green grass carpeting royal lawns
Gardens alive with colors, flowers of all shapes and sizes
Oh! The beauty of it all!

Whoosh! ---whoosh! The sweet sound of the wind whistling through the leaves
Sweet sound to hear,
Re-assurance that He is ever near.

Have you seen the beauty of the morning sun? The way it sets and at dawn?
Picture perfect I say! ----- Picture perfect!

The moon is the night light, made to illuminate our path
So that we do not fall as we step out at night
It is surrounded by twinkling stars, so brightly set like little diamonds in the sky!

The sound of the crickets tell us what time of the day it is,
The birds in the trees calling out to those flying past---tweet- tweet- Tweet!
B-u-z-zzzz! Look out! Here comes a bee!
M-e-o-w! That’s a cat! Woof! Woof! Do I hear a dog? R-o-a-r! Is there a jungle or a zoo close by? That was definitely, a lion!
Trumpeting? That is the way elephants call out to one another!
Look! Reptiles! Turtles, lizards, so many
Animals to behold in their entire splendor!

I can see the little ants, cockroaches, beetles and butterflies
The fish swimming by, all great and small in their dazzling colors

Oh! Such beauty of life
So much beauty in life

Yet, we see and hear also the bad!
Oh! What have we done?
Famine and flooding! Wars! Earthquakes!
Hunger, Disease and pain
Sorrow, hurt, and discomfort
Boom!!!! What was that!
Another country under siege?
Why do we hurt each other so?
Stones and sticks, guns, bows and arrows
In the beginning, it was not so.
All that he made was a beauty to behold!
