WHO OR WHAT IS RULING YOUR EMOTIONS?
(Your emotions & you)

Are you anointed; full of zeal and fire for God’s service, Fire spitting, Holy Ghost carrying (?) Tongue twisting, Bible -quoting –from- Genesis -to -revelation without opening a page, Heaven bound (?)
Anytime anyone is wanted for purpose of service in the house of God, you are always quick to volunteer whether convenient or not, before you think, you just want to do a lot in return for your creator and the one who has been so good and merciful to you.
All this is good but when you are so filled with works and your life is empty within, devoid of God’s true love and your works are the total opposite of God ´s word and commandments, not truly transformed (remember by their fruits, you shall know them) by the renewing of your mind and conformed to the image and character of Christ Jesus, then you are preaching the gospel of `DO AS I SAY´ BUT `DO NOT DO AS I DO´!

Is not the Gospel we are supposed to preach, that of our Lord Jesus Christ?
It is interesting to know that countless Christians now often use clichés like “we are no more under the law” (oftentimes do they not appear to be under God’s law either!) “We are recreated in the image of Christ Jesus” “We are joint heirs with Him,” and so many others that are freely spoken from the tip of the tongue but does not exist in the heart and character.
Love that is supposed to abound is hardly seen, shown or displayed whilst this has been replaced in the church with petty jelousy, envy, rambblings, back biting, gossip, name maligning, power struggle and unfortunately so many other character manifestations that should not be heard of even among decent people of the secular world not to mention followers of Christ! Proverbs 14:30

Our Lord was so humble, meek and patient, He laid the example for us in his character-God Almighty HIMSELF came down, dwelled among US!
He healed the sick and broken hearted, He took disgrace and insult for you and me, He was nailed and exposed as a common criminal on a tree, left half dead, bleeding profusely, tired and worn, all these he did because He promised our ancestors that He will never get as angry as he did during Noah’s time, ever again!
Though He always knew, THE HEART OF MAN IS DESPERATELY WICKED, He did all that because He can not bear to send any of His creatures that He beautifully and wonderfully made to Hell; a place he has specially created and reserved for the wicked batch-the devil and the fallen angels!
God expects us to be in charge always, read the book of Genesis chapter 1 verse 28, and check out why and how Jesus Christ always took charge of emotions that threatened to overcome

Matthew 26:38—Jesus was also sorrowful but He was not overcome by this emotion, He controlled Himself.
Remember He also cried during the case of Lazarus´ death and how Mary and Martha, sisters to same handled the case but he did not dwell on sorrow, empathy or any other emotion at their place , He just spoke the word and did what needed to be done to raise Lazarus and show God’s Glory

He needs us to always be in control of our emotions because this is the easiest vessel of the enemy of our souls, a thoroughfare, an open doorway for sin and attack; to creep in to steal, kill and destroy

Elijah (2 Kings 19) was not an ordinary prophet of God, he spoke and things were done as he asked; such that Elisha his understudy and trainee asked for a double portion of his type of anointing but the man Elijah had fear; he ran when he was threatened by Jezebel, A man that had just asked fire to come down from heaven to consume all of baal´s prophets´ antics and really made an open show of them all! He also spoke negative and forgot (perhaps) the power he had in his tongue to speak to his situation and pursuers. He just kept asking TO DIE AND LEAVE THIS CRUEL WORLD! (Sound familiar?)

Moses also, was much anointed and in tune with the Almighty but he had a problem with ANGER! Which made him lose his place as a partaker of God’s Promised Land to his people; he was quickly taken away by the Almighty Himself, in case he, during a longer stay on Earth makes a costly mistake by giving in to anger and losing his place in Heaven.

David had the key to God’s heart but he coveted another’s wife (in his case-Grace abound!) had a hand stained so much with blood , God always punished him but because he knew how to quickly always come back with sincere humility and brokenness to the Throne of mercy God always had mercy.

You, a Christian, publicly triumphant but privately continually disgraced spiritually or living in
Perpetual fear and secret agony of sorts because of secret sins and character manifestations that do not glorify God nor attract others to the God that you serve
This is not good enough, God wants us to have total victory always because He completed this on the cross of Calvary many years ago—I will that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers---------
Psalm 51 teaches us how we can learn to do it like David, but we should not take His Grace for granted by going out to always sin and expect GRACE TO ABOUND!

Stretch up those hands to Him today, and tell Him that, you have no power of your own to change those things that do not make Him happy about you, stop struggling with it and hand it or them over. Shout out with a loud voice---
HELP JESUS! SON OF GOD, HELP ME!
