Marriage

I sit in the still of the morning,
even the traffic has slowed down outside,
and reflect on all the blessings
that are heaped on my every side.

So much I have to be thankful for
that I take for granted instead,
so many blessings that God pours out
to keep my spirit fed.

I have my life, I have my health,
I have mercies each day that are new,
and above all else, my heart is so full,
because God has given me you!

It's been almost 48 months,
our anniversary will be in a few days,
and joys I have, so many I can't count them,
you've given me joy in so many ways.

Each morning I awake now with praise,
to God, to Whom I draw near,
and thank Him humbly for all that He's done,
for bringing your heart so near.

There's joy in the morning, peace at night
for in all I say and all I do,
every moment is filled with bliss,
and I say a thousand times, "I LOVE YOU!"
