I went outside to walk today,
the air was close and still,
but the birds were joyously singing above,
as if they had a world to fill.

They all sang a different song,
each note soaring on high,
an d to each one I added a prayer of thanks
soft as a baby's sigh

I looked at the world You made,
thinking 'You made this for me?'
the sights, the sounds, the wonder of it all,
how could this be?

The answer filled my heart,
a whisper from God above,
all of this, and more, I made just for you
to show you My love.

Another prayer I sent on high,
Thanking Him for all He's done,
for making me His, and then giving to me,
a very special someone.

All around there is beauty,
the world seems to glow,
and all because God gave to me, in you,
this wonder of love I know.

You are the reason I see,
the world in rainbow hues,
colors only seen through the eyes of love,
all because I LOVE YOU!!
