In my pride I saw me big,
Until I read God’s word;
In truth I then saw me lost,
But, by grace, was heard;

Now I know and write,
Of things much bigger than me;
He granted me spiritual sight,
To see the things I see;

I tell you then I stumble,
Walking in bigger shoes;
Yet, it’s still His delight,
When it’s His shoes I use;

Plus, you see, the path I take
Is of a greater plan;
For it’s His will, for Him to make
Me like His Son of Man;

So I bumble, stumble and fall,
From armor far too big for me;
Then He comes when I call,
And sets me on His knee;

If this gives you hope
From one who seems so small;
It’s only because it’s so big,
Big to take us all;

So, one day I will leave,
He’ll take me Home to see;
I would tell you what it’s like,
But it’s way much bigger than me.
