When I heard Your voice,
My heart was set at ease;
For Your will I made my choice,
And from this, we have peace;

Now all my life is bent
Toward an upward plane,
For the grace You have sent,
I thus have made my aim;

Have all my life, as giv’n You,
With sinew and blood, heart and soul;
May I be one of those very few,
Who will make so many whole;

My heart is watered, O generous Spirit;
Completed by Your Presence;
The Truth I touch, so very near it;
Wanting all to know the Essence;

Faith gives way to great belief,
Belief without restriction;
Belief gives way to heart’s relief,
For it becomes conviction;

And thus convicted, I stand anew;
I’m not the one I was;
May my heart show only You;
We’re both reborn from dust;
