Marriage

I walked out this morning, and entered in,
a lovely symphony,
the audience was already on its feet,
to hear the notes sung so beautifully.

I walked down the aisles of stately trees,
all with their branches raised up in praise,
to hear the music of a chorus of birds,
all hidden away beyond my gaze.

But oh, I could hear them, the notes so clear,
the melody repeated by the birds, one by one,
and the music soared up, straight to God's ear,
I don't think they'll ever be done!

If you listen so closely to the song,
there are no stars to be seen in this show,
each one so pleased to be part of the chorus,
to give voice to their hearts all aglow.

It made me think of how I begin each day,
thanking God for what He's done and will do,
and for all the beauty He's laid at my feet,
and all the blessings brand new.

I look around at all this wonder,
and think 'all of this shows that He's true'
and miracles happen each day all around me,
and the best one was that I LOVE YOU!

Love makes everything glow with beauty,
each morning the world is so fresh and new,
and I will fill the day with so many words and gestures,
that show how much I care for you.

It gives me such joy to share my hours,
with you from morning til night;
and I want to be with you every moment,
and not let you out of my sight.

I gather them up, each lovely memory,
and hold them in my heart out of view,
so I can bring them out over and over
to remind me of all my dreams that came true.

Now each morning I begin again,
to gather up notes of a song brand new,
that I will tie up with a bow of love,
and give them with my heart, to you.
