Marriage

This morning I went out walking,
the softness of spring was back in the air,
and it was if God had sent the clouds to earth,
to show me His loving care.

I walked through the mist, swirling about me,
the birds were all bursting into song,
a chorus of praise to go with my prayer
that I said as I walked along.

I thanked God for making this beauty,
for me to see along my way,
for the strength to walk, to be able to see and hear,
all this wonder at the start of my day.

I thanked Him too, for the joy in my heart,
for all the dreams that He's made come true,
and most of all I sent very special thanks,
for the love that I have in you!

For you are the one who brought me that joy,
God gave it to you to bring,
and every day since, my heart is so full,
my spirit soars, and I can't help but sing!

The birds join in with their voices,
adding to my song as I pass by,
a heart full of love I bring you each day,
and tears of joy are the only ones I cry.

Every day begins with a song,
mercies and blessings are mine ever new
and all of this is a gift from above,
I can never say enough how much I LOVE YOU!
