Have you ever had an experience where someone looked at you and was able to guess what you were-what job you had or other details of your life?

Demonic spirits often know things about your life more than an average person would know.

We Christians have a "Glory" or "Anointing" or "Shekina" around us that others can often see or feel or know, if we are walking in the Spirit. Often impaired people know at first glance. And impaired people are more likely to speak out than someone who is sober.

I once was a minister in a church and as life goes, I had some hard trials to endure there. The trials lasted so long that I almost gave up.

I decided not to give up but to sneak a rest for myself.
So I went AWOL one Sunday when I really should have been in place.

I asked God to just give me a rest...a break because I was so weary on this job.

That Sunday morning I drove to a gas station and was about to get out to go in when a drunk man started staring at me through my car window.

He had a bottle of liquor in his hand as he staggered up to the window.

Bending down he looked at me and said--
"Why ain't you in church today?"

Startled, I looked around trying to see how I could back away when he spoke again--

"You know that Pastor needs you down there, now take your !*%!# to church! I know you,"he stamped his foot in anger.

This was crazy! Now I was really trying to get away! I craned my head over my shoulder to see how I could back up without hitting any of the cars around me.

The drunk man continued lecturing me.
"I hear what ya sayin'. You saying you can learn just as much by staying at home, but that ain't true! God wants you to learn how to work through trials with PEOPLE and you can't do that hidin out at home! Now get on out of here and go where you suppose to be! Git!"

When the drunk man finished lecturing me, he waved me off with disgust, turned up the bottle for another long swig, then staggered on down the street.

True story.

God speaks to His children in several ways and in different forms. One of such ways is what we often refer to as 'providence'. Here, God does the unusual, like He had to speak through a donkey to Prophet Balaam! We must be sensitive to His voice at all times so that we do not miss the opportunity, which may be the last, as it was for Balaam! Thanks for sharing. Ezekiel

Sounds like "I know who you are, the Holy One of God". You are right about the unrighteous being able to spot a holy person. I hope you worked through the burn-out.
