One day as a grandmother was beginning to make cookies for her grandson she turned and discovered that he had selected several kinds of spices to sprinkle into the cookie dough.

“No, Child, we can’t add pepper, garlic, and basil to our cookies!”
The little boy whined that he just wanted to help.

The Grandmother told him that he COULD help.
He could sing....and he could thank God for how delicious those cookies were going to be.

So the little boy obeyed. He sang and praised God while his Grandmother combined the right ingredients to make the cookies.

We have to remember that when we ask God to be our Advocate we must be patient and let Him mix the ingredients.
Like the little boy we have to take our hands out of it because we simply don't know what ingredients to add.

We can save ourselves a lot of worry and stress if we would just be patient and sing.
Relax, Sing, and praise, while God makes the cookies.
