Marriage

In my dreams I took a journey
upon a lovely sailing ship,
the sun was bright, the breeze so brisk,
i was embarked on a wondrous trip.

We had so many stops to make,
to pick up things along the way,
precious cargo to bring back,
treasure for which i did not pay.

The first stop made were for all the dreams
that till now were hidden from view,
but now they had to be brought back,
so they could all come true.

The second stop was longer than most,
there was so much there to pick up;
hope and joy and happiness there,
brought on board to fill up my cup.

Then on to the last stop on this trip,
the ship docked at a land made brand new,
and all the dreams, the joy, peace and happiness,
were all brought out to give to you.

For there you were on that last stop
the destination Jesus wanted me to see,
for this was the island of love and bliss,
and you were there waiting for me.

I saw that all my dreams were there,
Jesus had made them all come true,
and brought together, we then had it all,
Joy complete - for you love me and I LOVE YOU!
