Marriage

It was such a joy to wake today,
and know it would be another warm day;
when I could fling open the windows
and feel the breeze at play.

The day ahead holds so many things
all needing to be done,
it sometimes gets to easy to forget,
into His hands to put each one.

There is one thing I never forget,
no, there are actually two,
one is that Jesus is my Savior
and the other, how much I LOVE YOU!

It is such a wonder that these two
in my heart are so closely tied,
for without Jesus ruling my heart,
I'd never have become your bride.

For it was Him that rescued me,
and made my heart brand new,
and readied me to accept and give
all the love He gave me for you!

Now He is ruler of my days,
each one filled with wonders anew,
and all day long I thank Him so,
for all the dreams He's made come true.

My joy is complete when I think of the things
you do each day telling of your love so true,
and now each moment of this new day,
I'll spend it telling how much I LOVE YOU
