Marriage

I went out walking this morning,
been a long time since I went,
and I'd almost forgotten the sights out there,
all of which from God are sent.

I saw glorious flowers,
bushes so crowded with blooms,
all different colors, it made my eyes dance,
to see them all together in their outdoor room.

But the ones that I loved the most to see,
were not the big showy ones,
but the tiny little yellow buttercups,
and the tinier still blue ones waiting for the kiss of the sun.

I saw two houses with 'for sale' signs in front,
stuck in the middle of the front lawn,
and I wondered at how lonely they looked,
as if wondering where their families had gone.

So many sights, such beauty everywhere,
up and down, I saw it all around,
and it made such a perfect place to pray,
to give praise to my Savior without a sound.

I thanked Him for all the wonders that I see,
and for those in my heart so profound,
for all the joy that is now in my life,
because you are in it, love has been found.

All the hours, the minutes and the days,
mark the time passing, new delights come true,
and all because God loved me so much,
He made my happiness complete in you!
