I awoke this morning and wondered,
another week has flown by so fast,
How could it be gone, when I wanted each moment
to be one that I could hold and make last.

Yesterday we planted a garden,
you and I, crawling around in the dirt,
and oh, it was fun, thinking of what is to come,
even though right now our knees will hurt.

I will enjoy every veggie,
that comes from our garden - a real treat,
but more than that, it was a memory made together,
that made the afternoon so sweet.

Our life together is full of such moments,
to others, so ordinary to see,
but to me they shine with a wondrous glow
because you share them with me.

Joy comes not from the "big" things,
but from many special things so small,
and by the end of each day I am rich,
I've won it all, the best prize of all!

Now another day is about to start,
and in it are blessings brand new,
and the joy and wonder is to discover them all,
and share them - every one - with you!

Love makes every day so special,
each one a new dream come true,
and now I can find a thousand new ways,
to tell you how much I LOVE YOU!!
