I opened the door, it was one of those days
spring is here, come take a peek,
for the air is warm, the breeze so soft,
and the sun gently kisses my cheek.

The grass is so green, the leaves proudly wave,
the flowers give off their sweet scent,
and joy comes in and fills up my heart,
and I know that it is heaven sent.

The joy I have is not just because of the weather,
even though it is so lovely to view,
no, the joy I have is a gift from God,
it's because I'm so in love with you!

I want to go and dance in fields of flowers,
to gather them all up and bring them to you,
to sit hand in hand, listening to the music of the breeze,
and wonder that it all is for us, it is so true.

How can I ever thank God enough,
for taking my dreams, making them come true,
I will live every minute to its fullest joy,
and tell you a thousand times how much I LOVE YOU!
