Poetry
I try to guard my heart and mind,
just as is Your holy command.
I can not do that on my own,
but I trust in Your mighty hand
to steady me on the Potter's wheel
and keep me pliant to Your touch.
For there I am, a broken vessel,
but God, I love You so very much.
Renew in me a right spirit.
And create in me a clean heart.
Tell me again, my Creator,
that I'm Your unique work of art.
Don't let me add what I think is good
to this new creature that You've made.
The least I can do -- give me to You,
knowing the price for me that You paid.

Jeremiah 18:2-4
Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
