Son of God in the flesh,
and they heard the rumors,
“He’s been put to death.”

the arms of their Savior

crown of thorns on His head.
They put Him in a tomb
made just for the dead.

He’d risen with His arms

I’ve walked through some valleys,
quite a few in my life.
Been slave to confusion,
to sin and to strife.

the arms of my Savior
still stretched out wide.
Wherever you are now
and wherever you’ve been,
He’s still waiting for you.
He still calls you friend.
And if you’ll come running,
it’s not too late to find,
the arms of the Savior
still stretched out wide.
He’s the risen, reigning King.
Come running and find
shelter in His arms,
arms still stretched out wide.
Come running inside.
If you fall, He will catch you,
with arms still stretched out wide.
