in Darwin, Australia, on purpse?"

[SILENCE.]

"Huh, Lord? I think that's really funny;
were You, like, playing a joke on us, or what?"

[MORE SILENCE.]

"LORD! LORD? Lord?
Where ARE You? Aw, come on!
You can tell me, if it was a joke!
I won't tell anybody!"

[AMUSED SILENCE.]

"I didn't know there WAS a Darwin-named
place, anywhere. He sort of
caused a big raucus over a century ago,
Lord."

"Yes, I know, child."

"What did You think about all that
business, Lord? Huh?"

"He was a good scientist, child."

"Yeah, I think so, too. But, You
know, Lord, I think his work did
a lot to spread Your Word, to the
world."

"In what way, My daughter."

"Well, all of sudden, folks were ranting
and raving about what You said in Genesis,
and what Darwin was saying in all of his notes."

[NOD.]

"In fact, I never in thought much about
Genesis, until I saw a special on TV,
way back when, on Darwin's theories.
That's kinda' ironic, isn't it, Lord?"

"Is it, child?"

"You're a Master Humorist, Lord,
did You know that?"
